When I came to Dr. Conlin to have an exam done, I wasn’t expecting him to tell me much. But apparently, I had more things wrong with me than I thought. He was able to fix my uneven legs and hips that I got from waitressing. It is really nice to be able to stand flat on both of my feet. I also had poor circulation I my arms and legs. I could never put arm up around my husband without it going numb and painful. And I could never sit in one position for too long without my legs going numb. I had no idea that a Chiropractor could fix that. Now I can put my hands around my husband whenever I want. Thank you.

Mike, a 34-year-old man, presented with severe sciatic pain down the left leg. He also had complaints of heartburn, neck pain and knee pain. He had always been athletic and his pain was preventing him from doing any sports he liked except golf. Upon examination he had typical misalignments in the areas for his symptoms. A left superior sacrum and a right rotated L5 causing sciatic “electric” pain down the left leg. A T4 rotated inferiorly to the left causing heartburn, and several cervical (neck) misalignments. After 1 adjustment his long-term heartburn had “disappeared”. After 5 adjustments his sciatica was gone and his knees were no longer painful. He started to jog “pain free” once again, and most importantly, he took 4 strokes off of his golf game. He is now 2nd in his league of 60 players. We are very happy for him, but his old teammates are not.
Headaches for 2 weeks was gone in minutes.

I have had severe intermittent sciatic pain for the past 5 years. At times I have not been able to walk. Following 2 weeks of treatment here, my sciatic pain is completely gone & I have been able to resume all activities!

I was in a vehicle accident in May of 2006 where a young kid ran a red light and T-boned my car. My neck and back were injured to the point that I couldn’t lift my head off the bed.
The doctor who took care of me put me in a neck brace to help secure my neck, he gave me pain pills, muscle relaxers, and sent me to a physical therapist. I trusted the doctor so I went with his advice. I went to physical therapy three times a week for nearly a year with no change in pain or mobility. My headaches, neck and back pain were still present. They had done all they could do but U was not getting results. At that point, I quite going and decided I would have to learn to live with the pain.
I have a friend who was going through message therapy school at the time. She tried to get me to see her Chiropractor but I never have believed in Chiropractors! She had been seeing a Chiropractor for months and begged me to go see him because she claimed he had been correcting her neck from a vehicle accident she had 20 years earlier and was getting unbelievable results. The first words out of my mouth were…No way! It took a lot of pleading on her part and a lot of time went by before I agreed to give this guy a try. Reluctantly, I made an appointment.
On January 21, 2009, I walked through Dr. Conlin’s door with little expectation. The receptionist was very nice and caring. I then met Dr. Conlin who was warm and kind, but got right down to business. He accessed my situation, ran some x-rays, and showed me the damage. He began working on my neck and back. Then like magic, with ten minutes, for the first time since my accident three years ago, the pain in my head disappeared. I was pain free. Days later, I am still I shock.
Dr. Conlin took my headache away within seconds! I stood up and was speechless! I cried! I couldn’t help myself. I stood there and cried like a two year old. My colors were brighter, vision more clearly! I had mobility to move more freely while driving, and then this flood of energy! I was out of pain! I can’t say it enough. I was out of pain for the first time in years! Dr. Conlin, ”YOU ROCK!” I am so grateful, I just love you. Woo-hoo!!

When I first went to 40th Street Chiropractic last July, I was in so much pain that I could hardly walk. I had severe low back pain, sciatica, severe mid-back pain, heart burn and very high blood pressure. (240/170)
These days, I feel great. My pain is gone, my blood pressure is down to 122/72, and heartburn is very rare. I feel substantially younger and healthier than I did one year ago.

I would have people pop my back for me. But it wouldn’t work for long. Now I sleep more in one night than I used to sleep in 3 or 4 nights. This was what I’ve needed for years and didn’t even know it. I was tired of my back hurting all of the time. Before I came here I had heard good and bad things about Chiropractors. This is what I needed 25 years ago. My sleep pattern has made a complete turn around.

My lower back pain was so intense that I couldn’t sleep, sit at work, or enjoy everyday activities. My heartburn was so bad water would give my heartburn. I had migraines so bad I couldn’t get out of bad. I had kidney infections so bad that they put me in the hospital.
I haven’t felt this good in years. I snore now!! I haven’t had a kidney infection since I’ve been coming to Dr. Conlin. I’m a permanent patient!! I’ve believed in Chiropractors, I just wasn’t getting the results I expected until I saw Dr. Conlin.

I was in the chiropractic office. During an examination Dr. Conlin asked, “Do you have any trouble with ringing in the ears?” I’ve had terrible ringing in the ears for over 20 years! My MD had diagnosed me with tinnitus. My dentist said that the ringing was caused by my T.M. J. Neither offered a solution.
I came to Dr. Conlin as a last resort. I had been adjusted by other chiropractors and received only temporary relief of some neck pain. By this time, I was about to give up. I had muscle spasm, numbness, electrical (electrical feeling), migraines, and major burning neck, shoulder, low back, and arm pain. My T.M.J was at its worse, the ringing in my left ear was unbearable, the headaches and pain kept me
awake at night and I was always nauseous. Still my MD wanted to keep me on pain medication and muscle relaxers. Temporary relief was all I got and never complete relief. It was recommended that I see a psychiatrist because my MD felt I was depressed and had fibromyalgia. Obviously I was, but feeling hopeless of ever being pain free caused my depression. So Dr. Conlin reviewed my x-rays, explained the possible cause of each particular problem and went to work. After my 3rd adjustment the ringing in my ears ceased, along with heartburn and less frequent headaches. I come to see Dr. Conlin on a regular basis now.
The relief I have had is more than I could have ever expected, and more than I had received elsewhere. Being without so many of those problems and pain that I had lived with for so many years is really something. I could never adequately convey my feelings about it to you trust Dr. Conlin and put your health in his hands and you will be amazingly rewarded.

I couldn’t smell, I walked like a duck (feet pointing out), lower back pain, and reoccurring chest pain. I’m a new man. I don’t remember the last time I could smell. Now I can. For the first time in a long time I can smell food, my girlfriend perfume, my sense of taste is heightened. The sweets are sweeter. It’s like trying new food every day. Lower back pain is going away and now my legs are all the same length. My feet are straightening out, and I’ve no chest pain. I am very thankful!

I have had cluster headaches on and off for about 15 years. Triggered by over exertion, they would come about once a year and last a month. Medicine didn’t help. Going to Dr. Conlin was the first time the headaches have ever stopped instantly, without coming back. Thanks for the fix-up.

I began coming to Dr. Conlin around December 2001. I came because I had never tried a chiropractor and I wanted to see what it could for me.
My main complaints were severe daily headaches, knee stiffness, and hip pain. I was told I had a reversed curve in my neck. For as long as I can remember, I‘ve had headaches daily that often hindered me from participating in many activates.
Since I have been coming to Dr. Conlin the headaches have been reduced to about one or two a month, if even that. My knee stiffness and hip pain occurs very rarely and isn’t as painful when it does happen. I thank you!

Dr. Conlin,
I would like to express my appreciation to you for the help you have given me and grandson. I’ve had custody of him since he was 2 ½. We knew had been abused by his previous care giver. We started him in therapy and he was diagnose with ADHD, RAS (reactive attachment disorder), and compulsive disorder. He is now 17 and has been in therapy care off and on. When Dr. Conlin began treating him I noticed an immediate change in him. His continual pacing decreased and he became more open and sociable with other people. He is a much happier person I plan to continue his care with Dr. Conlin. I would like to add that a lot of his
compulsive ways have almost disappeared. Dr. Conlin must have magic in his techniques.

Tommy - A 14 year old boy presented with a severe stomach disorder that several specialist could not diagnose. He was put on experimental medication and scheduled for much more invasive procedures. He had this disorder all of his life and it would cause him sharp severe stabbing stomach pain, daily vomit and diarrhea. He also had symptoms of neck pain with burning radiation into the right shoulder, sharp pain between his shoulder blades, knee pain, wrist pain, and toe numbness. X-ray, chiropractic and neurological exams showed misalignment in the areas supplying nervous flow to the stomach, gall bladder and liver (T4-T8 vertebrate.) After his 1st adjustment, his stomach disorder and most of the other problems “disappeared”. After several adjustments, his MD observed that his problem was truly better, took him off of the medications, and told him to continue with chiropractic care.
